Two more monarch eggs found 24th July 2018

I found two more monarch eggs and brought them inside on their respective leaves.

These were again on one of the younger milkweed plants.  I’m thinking next year I will do the trim back when they start to get above a foot so there will be more newer leaves that might attract more monarchs to lay eggs here.  I’ve also been concerned with how all of our milkweed no longer has any flowers left.  I can’t recall if this was the case last year or not.

With one of the eggs, the larvae is already working its way out, similar to the one that was already indoors.

I still have not found any large caches of eggs.
