2019 Plantings

Last Updated on May 9, 2020 to adjust final known counts.

Please Note: This is a WIP–I am still checking against last year’s notes.

Old Farmer’s Almanac last frost date: tentative April 28th May 20th

~ How to read the plantings list ~

Name
Status pending – no format to the name means I’m still unsure at this time.

Survivor – has either emerged from a seed sown in the ground, or a transplanted seedling /starter that lived a week past transplant.  Some plants had both survivors and deceased, so the plant name is marked in bold because not all died.

Deceased – A plant that has shuffled off this mortal coil.  In some cases, they may have been eaten by the Acorn Bombers or other critter visitors.

Sow type

indoor – planted them in either a pot or egg carton indoors for after frost transplanting

starter – put in ground as either a young tree/bush or typical purchased starter

ground – seed sown directly to ground

Date
Date(s) listed are when they were planted. Year only noted when not this year.

Numbers (ex: 2/8)
The first number is how many have at least a starter growing, the second is how many were planted.
