~ How to read the plantings list ~
Name
Status pending – no format to the name means I’m still unsure at this time.
Survivor – has either emerged from a seed sown in the ground, or a transplanted seedling /starter that lived a week past transplant. Some plants had both survivors and deceased, so the plant name is marked in bold because not all died.
Deceased – A plant that has shuffled off this mortal coil. In some cases, they may have been eaten by the Acorn Bombers or other critter visitors.
Sow type
pot – planted them in a pot indoors
porch – planted them in a pot I put on the porch to try to deter critters
starter – put in ground as either a young tree/bush or typical purchased starter
ground – seed sown directly to ground
Date
Any date(s) listed are when that plant seed or seedling was planted.
Numbers (ex: 2/8)
If I remember offhand how many seeds I planted, I note that after the date planted. (I keep forgetting to do this for flowers.) When survivors present themselves, I’ll add them to the count. For later added dates, any survivors will be noted after that listing.
