Bouncing Back

I will write more soon about this, but I’m thrilled to say the transplant gone awry is recovering nicely and wanted to at least post this for now.

When I saw two new stems pushing through today, I gently pulled back some of the soil to confirm what I hoped–they were indeed from the stems that broke during the last in a series of transplants.  You can sort of see this in the image above, where the broken part is just to the left of the new growth on the bottom and in the center on the top new growths.  You can also see there are more coming.  Hooray!  A happy turn from an Oh noes moment in transplanting!
