The bit of upright white stripes in the background left and barely noticeable white bit visually behind the trellis/doghouse is two of the fence pieces that will surround the new compost bin when finished.
I already miss seeing the doghouse where it used to be, and we’ve discussed what sort of small structure we might put in the back to help act as a permanent non natural element. There was just something about the doghouse being in all the shots that helped the comparisons, especially with snow.
Then again, it’s not something that will likely happen anytime soon, and by then I may not miss that element anymore.
