Today was a disappointing day on many fronts. I’d been fighting a bit of a reaction to I don’t know what the last few days, and was ill enough from it that I did not make it to the Earth Day clean up. Should be obvious, but should be said: I also got diddly done around the yard. Continue reading “Garden Growth–27th April, 2019”
Garden Growth–26th April, 2019
Not the best start to a gardener’s day, but also not the end of the world. The weather persists in spells of rain, and temperatures seem promising still. Continue reading “Garden Growth–26th April, 2019”
Note to Future Me #11
Stop dithering and either make two small leaf bins, or figure out how to make the time to clear out all the tiny saplings for the larger spot you and your partner picked but haven’t made time to clear yet. Garden Growth–19th April, 2019

It hit a sustained high of 72°F in early afternoon and didn’t drop much below 70° by dark. Continue reading “Garden Growth–19th April, 2019”

Garden Growth–18th April, 2019
We didn’t get as much rain as early as I expected, which worked out because that gave us time to set up one of the rain barrels. The air was still damp, which added a chill to the near 50°F temperatures. Continue reading “Garden Growth–18th April, 2019”
