There may be some ghosts of seedlings past after all.

A third type of leaf formation has presented itself on the now third seedling/baby that has pushed past the soil in the spider plant pot.

Although I’m still not sure if the one is a spider baby or not, the other two are less likely to be based on the shape of the leaves.  I’m actually a bit excited to see what they might turn out to be!

I know that one or all could be weed seeds picked up when the pot was outdoors that are now thriving, and there will be folks shaking their heads thinking, “Why didn’t they sterilize the soil?”  Yet, I like this sense of mystery–being forced to be patient and wait to see what is revealed in time.
