Note to Future Me #11
Stop dithering and either make two small leaf bins, or figure out how to make the time to clear out all the tiny saplings for the larger spot you and your partner picked but haven’t made time to clear yet. I’ve already put too many leaves in the compost, though I did at least make sure to make them somewhat easy to take out later. Sorry about the dithering! Do better than current me, please. [Later Note: Woo! Done!]

We did manage to get some work done between rains. I’m keenly aware how much still needs doing within a month’s time. Again, higher temperatures than predicted, broke into the low 60s F. Garden Growth–19th April, 2019
The rain predicted for today was subtly changed to what little rain we did get earlier, though there’s a steady light rain now. Tomorrow, though, heavy rains and boomers may postpone the outdoor portion of the Arbor Day events here in Gardner. Time will tell on that.
