Last year, none of the red columbines bloomed. There’s a long list of “maybe this is why”, but for now I’ll simply say that recently we’ve had steady rains until the other day. That’s when I noticed this…larger stemmed than I’ve ever seen but leaves that look about right and possible bloom. Time will tell?
